Our Robbinsville ABA program is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. ABA is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree.
A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will come to your home to meet your child and complete an assessment. Once the assessment is completed, a plan is written for treatment and service provision. When services begin, an ABA therapist will come to your home and begin providing the therapy. The therapist will collect data on program goals during the sessions. The BCBA will regularly attend sessions to supervise the therapist, oversee service provision, and provide parent coaching/support. Each individual is different due to the individual’s skills, current level of functioning, abilities, and behaviors are all used to develop a program for his or her specific needs.
