New Brunswick, NJ Functions of Behavior ABA Services

We follow the principles of ABA or Applied Behavior Analysis here at Sidekicks Support in New Brunswick, NJ. ABA is the process of learning theory to help our clients improve their social interactions and behavior. The ABA therapists will pay close attention to the four functions of Behavior to help your child grow. 

After you reach out to us, we will send a BCBA or a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst out to your South Brunswick home. A plan is written for the ABA, based on the functions of behavior in the assessment. Our plans are written for your child’s unique situation and can include but are not limited to methods such as discriminative stimulus (SD), establishing operations, and negative reinforcement to help your child. Your child’s sessions will be regularly attended by the BCBA, who will oversee the ABA with your child and offer to coach to parents. Every individual is unique due to multiple reasons such as the individual’s skills, the current level of functioning, abilities, and behaviors. This is the same for your child and our plans will be written specifically for them and their specific needs.
